Gardens by the Bay: A Futuristic Garden Wonderland in Singapore

The Gardens By The Bay is a massive futuristic botanical garden that was established in 2012 as part of Singapore’s government aim to transform the country into a “City In A Garden” and improve people’s quality of life by utilizing trees, plants, and flowers.

The Gardens by the Bay, which are beautifully situated directly on Marina Bay’s coastline, are divided into three sections: the 54-hectare Bay South Garden, which is the most noticeable, the Bay Central Garden, and the Bay East Garden.

The most visited area of Gardens By The Bay is the Bay South Garden, which is home to the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest Dome, and the recognizable and well-known Supertrees.

The second-largest area in Singapore is Bay East Garden, a green space that provides stunning views of the city skyline.

The Bay Central Garden, a 3 km waterfront promenade that connects the two, is ideal for running and strolling and provides a breathtaking perspective of Singapore.

With more than 158,000 plants, the Supertrees are architectural wonders that can reach a height of 50 meters. Don’t miss the OCBC Skyway, a 128-meter aerial walkway that provides breathtaking views of Marina Bay and the gardens below, as you meander through the forest. The Garden Rhapsody light and sound performance, a stunning display of lights timed to music, is when the Supertrees change at night.
